We are proud to welcome F.lli Bonfanti as the newest member of the B/COMMUNITY, within the textile network of Piemonte Agency: “Piemonte: The Heartbeat of Italian Luxury Textiles.”
Founded in 1946 and based in Torino, Italy, F.lli Bonfanti is a family-owned company with almost 80 years of experience in the production of high-quality fashion buttons. What began as a small artisanal activity has evolved into a structured and reliable partner for fashion brands looking for unique details that express quality, elegance, and character.
From the very beginning, the company has focused on diverse materials, ranging from natural options like mother-of-pearl, corozo, horn, wood, coconut, and bamboo, to metal, polyester, nylon, and ABS, always with the goal of creating collections that combine functionality with creative flair. Their buttons are not just accessories, but true style statements, carefully designed to complement and enhance the garments they adorn.
A deep commitment to sustainability has also become a driving force for the company. Embracing the challenges of a more responsible fashion system, F.lli Bonfanti is increasingly investing in the use of recycled materials such as paper, hemp powder, and corozo, while also conducting research into bioplastics to further reduce the environmental impact of production. This vision reflects a broader shift in the industry and positions the company as an active player in promoting conscious innovation.
Each year, F.lli Bonfanti releases two seasonal fashion collections, Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter, consisting of around 150 new styles. These collections are carefully curated, both in terms of aesthetics and trends, and presented on hand-sewn sample cards that offer a tactile and visual experience aligned with the latest Made in Italy inspirations. In addition to these seasonal lines, the company also maintains a Permanent Collection, filled with timeless and always-in-stock designs.
