SecondFlow: Driving circularity through collaboration: YKK®, Deda Stealth, and B/SAMPLY join forces
An initiative promoted by SDA Bocconi School of Management.

B/SAMPLY is proud to support SecondFlow, a new pilot project launched by YKK® and Deda Stealth, both active partners of the Monitor for Circular Fashion promoted by SDA Bocconi School of Management. The initiative brings together technological innovation and sustainability, leveraging the B/SAMPLY digital platform to enable a more transparent, efficient, and circular fashion supply chain.
At the heart of the project lies a shared mission: to encourage the responsible reuse of materials and promote new, sustainable business models across the industry. Through its digital showroom on B/SAMPLY, YKK® has made a selection of zippers and buttons from unused stock available free of charge. These materials are intended for educational institutions, non-profit organizations, and associations working to advance research, innovation, and awareness in sustainable fashion.
By redistributing existing materials instead of producing new ones, the project provides a concrete example of circular economy principles in action. It demonstrates how technology can bridge the gap between supply and demand, helping organizations gain access to quality resources while reducing environmental impact and waste.
The collaboration between YKK®, Deda Stealth, and B/SAMPLY also underlines the importance of cross-industry partnerships in driving systemic change. Circularity in fashion requires the contribution of every player in the value chain, from suppliers and manufacturers to brands, institutions, and technology providers, and this project exemplifies how collective action can foster real progress toward a more sustainable future.
For B/SAMPLY, participating in SecondFlow represents another step forward in its mission to digitize and simplify sourcing processes while promoting responsible and transparent collaboration. By hosting YKK®’s digital showroom and facilitating the connection between supply and demand, B/SAMPLY continues to serve as a digital enabler for sustainability and innovation within the textile and fashion ecosystem.
This pilot project stands as a tangible demonstration of how digitalization and sustainability can work hand in hand to build a more circular, inclusive, and connected fashion system, one where transparency, collaboration, and innovation drive meaningful change.
