Founded in 1934, TEA Srl has over 90 years of experience in the production of elastic stockings and compression garments, a legacy built on precision, innovation, and a deep understanding of both textile technology and human well-being.

From its headquarters in Avigliana (TO), in the heart of the Susa Valley, TEA oversees the entire production cycle in-house: from yarn selection and product design to knitting, finishing, compression measurement, quality control, and packaging. The company operates under ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certifications, guaranteeing the highest standards in both manufacturing and medical-grade performance.

TEA’s collections are designed to address a wide spectrum of needs, from therapeutic use to sports and travel:

  • Therapeutic Line: Compression stockings (Class I and II) for venous insufficiency, in various formats
  • Antiembolism Line: Post-operative and preventive stockings
  • Orthopedic Line: Supports for knee, ankle, thigh, back, and elbow
  • Sport Line: Compression socks and supports designed for athletic performance and recovery
  • Travel Line: Functional and comfortable products for long-distance travelers

Each item is the result of decades of research, technological innovation, and hands-on experience, aimed at offering high-performing, reliable solutions for everyday use and clinical care.

TEA’s journey spans four generations, each contributing to its growth:

  • The founding generation introduced corsetry and early elastic stockings crafted by hand
  • In the 1950s, industrial looms expanded production to orthopedic supports
  • In 1988, the company relocated to Caprie and introduced advanced anti-embolism solutions
  • In 2005, under the guidance of Claudia and Cristina, the fourth generation opened the new site in Avigliana, launched medicalteashop.it, and embraced Industry 4.0 technologies for the digital era

What has remained constant is the company’s core focus on elastic textiles, made with certified yarns and a relentless pursuit of quality and functionality.
